Free Access for Everyone

Every document in this library can be accessed by anyone, either through archive.org or the CIA Reading Room at cia.gov. What this library provides is the work of finding these records, reading them, and organizing them so you can reach them easily.

That work is ongoing. New documents are added as they are found and read.

How to Read Everything Here

Every item is labeled:

  • Documented: an official or primary source you can check yourself.
  • Testimony: a firsthand account that has not been independently verified.
  • Speculation: interpretation, theory, or open questions.

Read the sources, weigh the evidence, and reach your own conclusions.

Keep the Library Free

Everything here is free. If it has been valuable to you, you can help keep the research going, with no obligation.
